So you want to raise your grade? Well....you have come to the right place!
Raising your grade in Biology is easier than you think. Follow the steps below to determine how to do it!
First....you have to determine which assignments are bringing your grade down. Click on the little A+ Icon in the upper right of your Pearson Online HomePage to get into your GRADEBOOK.
Second, Click on BIOLOGY in your course list
Third....scroll down the page, and look for ZEROES in the EARNED column of your gradebook. Look for zeroes on PORTFOLIOS or SAMPLE WORK First.
Sample Work and Portfolios are the MAIN thing that determine your grade. If you want to raise your grade...completing these assignments is the FIRST and BEST thing you can do for an immediate impact. You need to complete these assignments and WEBMAIL OR TEXT them to me so I can enter them into the gradebook manually for you. Instruction Links for these assignments are below!!!
If you have good scores on all of the portfolio and sample work assignments, the next thing to do would be to check out your TEST scores. Scan your gradebook again to find tests with LOW SCORE Percentages:
Click on the number in the EARNED Column. In the example above...it is 10. That's your score. This will open the test and allow you to see which questions you missed points on. The circle in the upper right represents points earned.
Look for the questions you have missed, and look up the correct answers. Type me up a 1-2 sentence response explaining the correct answer for the multiple choice questions.....and/or a 3-4 sentence response for the short answer questions.
Please note.....if you redo or correct portfolios, sample work, or test questions....this is enough to raise ANYONE's grade. Extra credit is not needed. All you have to do is redo the above assignments until your grade is where you want it to be. You can redo ANY of these right up until the last day of the Semester.....but NOW is the best time to get started. DON'T WAIT until the last week of school. It will save you stress! Please contact me if you have any questions!
